Noun And Their Types

Noun:- A Noun is the name of person , place or thing .

Kinds of Noun :-

1.Common Noun :-

The name which is given equally to a group or to different persons or objects of a type is called a common noun.

  I . Singular / Plural बनता है।

2. Proper Noun :-

  The Proper Noun is the name of a particular person, place, day, month or thing etc

( I ) . A / An Article नहीं लगता है।  Plural नहीं बनता है।

3. Collective Noun :-

Name has been assigned to some special groups is called a collective noun.

  ( I ) Singular / Plural बनते है।

  ( II )  Group of people   Ex-   Army , Class, team  , committee  etc

4. Abstract Noun :

– The Noun which denotes quality, condition and action is called abstract Noun

 Knowledge , Strongness , Honesty , Beauty .

( I ) Singular / Plural  नहीं बनता है।

( II )  Uncountable होते है।

( III ) सामान्यतः  Ty , ship ,ness, hood इत्यादि शब्द के अंत में लगेगा।

5. Material Noun :-

The Noun which denotes the materials is called material noun

  Gold , Cement , brass , iron    etc.
