केंद्र सरकार द्वारा नई प्रस्तावित राष्ट्रीय भर्ती एजेंसी (एनआरए) समूह-बी (गैर-राजपत्रित), समूह-ग (गैर-तकनीकी) और लिपिक के पदों के साथ सरकार में विभिन्न समकक्ष भर्ती के साथ सरकार में भर्ती प्रक्रिया को सुव्यवस्थित करेगी। बैंकों। अब तक, तीन प्रमुख भारतीय भर्ती एजेंसियों को इसमें शामिल किया गया है।

What is CET:-
The government is going to take a common prelims exam for the non-gazetted posts ( Group B Posts, Group C Posts ) in the central government. The government has decided to conduct a Common Eligibility Test (CET) in place of prelims exams for all the government departments.
The score of the exam is used to select the candidates for the higher level of examination by the different organizations for select candidates for the posts. The test scores will be valid for a period of three years and will be conducted twice a year.
This will help all the government aspirants, as there will be no need to fill different applications for the different exams and they have to prepare for a single exam now. .
CET Benefits:-
A CET will be a single prelims exam that will be held for all IBPS, SSC, and RRB posts. Candidates need to pay a one-time fee for all the CET exam.
There will be one standard for the exam and a single exam will save money as well as time. CET will be a single online prelims exam.
The CET score will be valid for three years.
The CET score will be shared with all the central government recruiting agencies.
Each candidate will have two additional chances to improve his or her scores and the best scores will be taken into consideration.
Every district will have at least one exam center.
There will be separate CET for graduate, higher secondary, and secondary level students.
There will be a separate syllabus for CET based on the qualification.
As per the PIB, the score of successful candidates of CET can be utilized by State Governments also.
CET Score Card:-
The test score is valid for 3(three) years.

The NRA will set up examination centers in every district of the country to help youths, especially women, from rural and far-flung areas of the country, as they won’t be required to travel to another place to take recruitment tests. The score of CET will be valid for three years. There shall be no restriction on the number of attempts to be taken by a candidate to appear in the CET subject to the upper age limit.
Languages in CET:-
The NRA CET will be conducted in multiple languages. According to Minister of DoPT Jitendra Singh, the exam will be conducted in 12 languages that are in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India. This would greatly facilitate people from different parts of the country to take the exam and have an equal opportunity of being selected .
CET Test Center:-
The NRA will set up examination centres in every district of the country to help youths, especially women, from rural and far flung areas of the country, as they won’t be required to travel to another place to take recruitment tests. There is a piece of good news for the students who belong to a remote location of the country.
There will be at least one or more than one center in a district depending on the students appearing for the exam. Candidates will not need to go too far places to attempt the exam. This will reduce the expenses of poor candidates in terms of examination fees, traveling charges, lodging, and other expenses. .
CET Exam Age limit:-
The age limit for the CET 2020 depends on the exam they want to take under CET. There will be 3 levels of exam namely, undergraduate, 12th level exam, and 10th level exam. The Age-limit will be the same as it is now for each exam. There is no change in the eligibility of the exam. The age relaxation given to different categories will remain the same. Candidates no need to panic as it is a single prelims exam only, there will be no change in eligibility, age limit, and exam pattern.
Exam Covered:-
All the prelims exams of Group B and C posts will be subsumed into a single common eligibility test (CET).
The National Recruitment Agency will initially aim at replacing the preliminary exams of Group B and C posts conducted by three government agencies namely-
Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).
Aspirants have to give only a single preliminary examination for the exams conducted by these agencies.
CET Syllabus and Exam pattern:-
There is no defined exam pattern and syllabus for the CET yet.
The exam pattern and syllabus of CET will be updated as soon as it is released by NTA. As per the speculation, there will be different exam pattern and syllabus for the graduate, senior secondary, and secondary level exams. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the website for all the updates regarding the CET exam pattern and Syllabus.
CET Agency(NRA):-
National Recruitment Agency (NRA) would conduct an online CET which would serve as a screening or a preliminary examination for various non-gazetted government jobs including the Banking, SSC & Railways Jobs. It would only be the first level of examination that can be taken by the candidates. If qualified, candidates would then have to appear for Tier 2 and 3 of the examinations, which would consequently be conducted by the NRA. National Recruitment Agency (NRA) will CET exam for Graduates (Degree), 12th Class (Higher Secondary) Pass and 10th Pass candidates.
